Chamsys GeNetix Node 5 is een multifunctioneel DMX knooppunt dat een oplossing biedt voor DMX gegevensdistributie op afstand via netwerk, in een breed scala aan toepassingen. Biedt ook ondersteuning voor Timecode, MIDI en 10Scene.
Deze universele interface ondersteunt Art-Net, sACN, RDM en is net als alle GeNetix-nodes volledig configureerbaar vanaf ChamSys-consoles, via de ingebouwde webserver of via het display op de unit. De DMX-poorten zijn volledig configureerbaar, waardoor ze kunnen worden gebruikt als DMX-invoer of -uitvoer, en er zijn configureerbare DMX-timings. Met twee netwerkpoorten kan de GeNetix Node 5 PoE-voeding krijgen of netvoeding krijgen via de powerCON TRUE1-lijningang. Dit veelzijdige apparaat voelt zich in veel verschillende omgevingen thuis als standalone interface, op een truss gemonteerd in de installatie via de M12-connector, geïnstalleerd via DIN-railmontage of in een rek gemonteerd via de optionele rackoren.
De LTC- en MIDI-poorten van de interface bieden zowel tijdcode- als MIDI-noteninvoer/uitvoer naar MagicQ-systemen via ChamNet en ondersteunen Art-Net-tijdcode die compatibel is met elk systeem dat dit ondersteunt, waardoor GeNetix Node 5 ideaal is voor toepassingen waarbij de tijdcode of MIDI-bron ver weg is van de console.
Wanneer aangesloten op MagicQ PC-systemen via USB, ontgrendelt GeNetix Node 5 MagicQ PC-systemen in volledig ontgrendelde modus en fungeert niet alleen als een DMX-interface, maar ook als een tijdcode-, MIDI- en 10Scene-gateway, waardoor de volledige kracht van MagicQ-software beschikbaar wordt voor systemen die draaien op Linux, Mac of pc.
Bij gebruik als een Art-Net/sACN node ontgrendelt de GeNetix Node 5 tot 2 MagicQ Instances via het netwerk.
GeNetix Node 5 is a multipurpose node that provides a solution for remote data distribution in a wide variety of applications, notably offering support for Timecode, MIDI and 10Scene.
This universal interface supports Art-Net, sACN, RDM and like all GeNetix nodes is fully configurable from ChamSys consoles, via its in-built web server or via the display on the unit. Its DMX ports are fully configurable, allowing for use as DMX Input or Output and has configurable DMX timings. With two network ports, GeNetix Node 5 can be either PoE or Mains powered via its powerCON TRUE1 line input. This versatile device is at home in many different environments as a standalone interface, truss-mounted in the rig via its M12 receiver, installed via its DIN rail mount or rack mounted via its optional rack ears.
The interface’s LTC and MIDI ports provide both Timecode and MIDI notes input/output to MagicQ systems over ChamNet as well as supporting Art-Net timecode compatible with any system supporting this, making GeNetix Node 5 ideal for applications where the Timecode or MIDI source is away from the console.
When connected to MagicQ PC Systems via USB, GeNetix Node 5 unlocks MagicQ PC Systems in Full Unlocked Mode, acting not only as a DMX interface, but also as a Timecode, MIDI and 10Scene gateway, making the full power of MagicQ software available to systems running on Linux, Mac or PC. When used as an Art-Net/sACN node the GeNetix Node 5 unlocks up to 2 MagicQ Instances via Network.
